Partners Welcome

The Impartial Reporter Celebration of Sport will be the third staging of our awards after two very successful events in 2012 and 2013.

The origin of the awards night was simply borne out of the Impartial Reporter's desire to commend and recognise the tremendous achievements of the sports men, women, boys and girls of Fermanagh. These achievements have always earned due recognition in the sports pages of the Impartial Reporter week in, week out but we were of the opinion they needed not only documentation but indeed celebration.

Hence the Impartial Reporter Celebration of Sport. The five star Lough Erne Resort was the obvious choice of venue, the adjoining Nick Faldo designed championship golf course and golf academy complementing perfectly our sporting theme and providing the perfect backdrop to give everyone a night to remember. Our events have been showcased by guests of honour such as Northern Ireland football manager Michael O'Neill, Fermanagh GAA All Star Martin McGrath while stars of Ulster rugby have attended thanks to the Bank of Ireland and the likes of Tommy Bowe, Paddy Wallace and Jared Payne have made great impressions on all our guests.

Compere for the evening, Graham Little, is one of our own. The Sky TV and Century TV broadcaster is a former Impartial Reporter journalist and his easy going, entertaining interviews and hosting have helped the night run smoothly and enjoyably.

We hope the Impartial Reporter Celebration of Sport 2014, taking place on Friday, January 30th, will be equally as enjoyable and certainly there is much to celebrate.

The event of course would not be possible to stage without the many sponsors who have come on board over the last two years and once again we thank everyone who has helped us in the past and will come on board this year, It promises to be a great night, see you there!
